Job Summary:
Responsible for driving, championing, and executing initiatives which support the transformation of the SSM Health landscape. This role will understand current business processes, future goals, and system functionality to identify solutions and execute change.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages all aspects of lifecycle of employee, including hiring, performance management, training and development, compensation recommendations, and separations.
- Manages HR technology installations, conversions, and upgrades, and develops implementation plans. Identifies opportunities to support manual processes and provides cost-benefit analysis of automated solutions. Deals effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
- Synchronizes projects and their interdependencies; coordinates resource capacity and availability; facilitates transitions from projects to operations; identifies barriers to change and drive organizational change.
- Collaborates with colleagues in the conceptual design and translation of business needs into innovative technology solutions and features. Builds, maintains, and implements strategic roadmaps for Centers of Excellence (COE’s) – user experience, talent, recruiting, learning, total rewards, and HR service delivery.
- Manages and identifies project risks and issues as appropriate, establishes success metrics for projects, and ensures project performance is tracked and measured.
- Creates metrics and dashboards to monitor work case load and team productivity. Monitors and reports on Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to hold individuals and the team accountable. Acts with urgency and care to address critical system performance issues identified through SLA’s/KPI’s. Periodically reviews support team and structure to help demand management and capacity planning, utilizing metrics and services delivery standards.
- Provides thought leadership regarding HR technology solutions and strategies for new programs, projects, and enhancements to existing solutions. Serves as a strategist, problem solver, team enabler and barrier remover for team directly managed but also within the broader HR team.
- Lead teams and creates a culture of innovation and trust.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
EXPERIENCE
- Five years’ experience, with two years’ leadership and two years’ Information Technology change management
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors
