Job Description

Jefferson Health is seeking compassionate, patient-focused Per Diem Hospitalists to join our Hospital Medicine team in New Jersey. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for physicians who are looking to supplement their schedules or interested in a dynamic, supportive environment without a full-time commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient medical care, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
  • Respond to acute medical situations and emergencies on the floor
  • Document care using EPIC electronic medical records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members
  • Salary range - $185.00 - $195.00

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Current New Jersey medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Active DEA and CDS registrations
  • Prior hospitalist experience preferred
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
