Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Manager of Financial Planning for our Financial Planning and Analysis department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Manager of Financial Planning, you will:
• Directs the financial analysis and decision support process
• Coordinates the team’s efforts with entity financial leadership to ensure best practices are utilized across the organization
• Provides guidance and direction that moves the team toward a common or shared goal with available resources that support the organizational mission and goals
• Supports the development of the AHC's annual operational and capital budget
• Manages and continuously develops our data tools to provide timely information for decision-making
• Responsible for the Budget Software System maintenance and security administration
• Coordinates quarterly financial projections for all entities and prepares management reports
• Coordinates routine updates to AHC’s overall long-term financial plan, utilizing Kaufman Hall software
• Performs or directs team members to perform pro-forma financial analysis/projections for possible business ventures
• Hires, orients, and supervises employees
• Coordinates professional development of Financial Planning staff
• Identifies and, where appropriate, implements innovative procedures and processes in financial planning

Qualifications include:
• A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a health-related field is required; a Master's preferred.
• 5-8 years of work experience in business development, strategic planning, financial management, or decision support required
• Working knowledge of the healthcare industry required
• Ability to supervise and mentor financial planning staff
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the healthcare industry, as well as financial and operating targets
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and cost accounting systems.
• Intermediate level of proficiency in database environments such as Microsoft Access.
• Comfortable leading in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to work independently and handle a multi-task environment.
• Strong customer service skills, both on the telephone and face-to-face contact.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Must be creative, analytical, enthusiastic, and a strategic thinker.
• Must have the ability to guard confidential information.
• Must have the ability to plan and coordinate projects from start to finish, set and meet objectives, budgets, and deadlines, be attentive to detail, and have strong communication/presentation skills.
• Must have tact and good judgment.

Pay Range:

$96,058.56 - $145,995.20

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as:

United States of America (Exempt)
