Position Overview: The Senior Project Manager, Web will support NYCEDC’s Marketing efforts by executing day to day operations of NYCEDC’s primary website (http://edc.nyc) and collection of microsites. In collaboration with the Assistant Vice President for Web and Digital Communications, the Senior Project Manager will work with teams across the organization to proactively ensure content on sites is kept current and that new content creation needs are met. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with Marketing’s Content, Design, and Planning staff to execute projects and tasks. The Senior Project Manager will also support NYCEDC’s email marketing campaigns.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage content on http://edc.nyc and NYCEDC-related microsites using Drupal 10 
  • Draft, edit, and manage existing content to ensure site is up to date 
  • Build new pages using established editorial style guide 
  • Proofreading and copyediting of marketing communications 
  • Contribute to a shared event calendar to support a steady stream of new content 
  • Meet regularly with internal stakeholders to make sure site content remains accurate 
  • Collaborate with IT department and back-end web team for bug fixes, new feature development, and other content management needs 
  • Run regular reports, provide Google Analytics 4 analysis, and support SEO best practices, as assigned 
  • Support intranet content management as needed, including image resizing, image color correcting, and document upload 
  • Build, test and execute branded email marketing campaigns in Mailchimp 
  • Other duties as assigned  

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience developing web content in a corporate and/or institutional setting 
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required 
  • Proven track record of creative problem solving and following through with implementing resolutions with agility, flexibility, and professionalism 
  • Strong organizational skills – able to plan, schedule, and organize tasks to successfully complete projects within established timelines 
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely 
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), content management systems (e.g., Drupal), project management software (e.g., Wrike) a plus  
  • Expert knowledge of both Adobe Creative and Microsoft Office suites, and working proficiency in PC and Mac environments 
  • New York City residence is required within 180 days of hire 
Salary Range$75,000—$77,000 USD
