The Digital Marketing Analyst is responsible for driving business growth through data-related insights. The focus of this role is to create and implement measurability across all marketing initiatives and channels and to tie together performance insights from web, marketing and business data to create actionable insights. To succeed in this role you’ll need a strong analytical mindset, creative problem solving skills, ability to work autonomously as well as with team members, and strong communication skills.  They will be the go-to resource for all things web analytics-related, and will likely have the opportunity to dig into business data, as well. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

 

• Act as an internal expert on Google Analytics and tagging implementation
• Develop custom reports based on digital performance and in-center transactions
• Maintain the data integrity and reporting of all online properties
• Manage analytics implementation and reporting associated with each campaign across .com, media, landing pages, ecommerce, etc.
• Help define recommended requirements, measurements, strategies and reporting to drive business decisions
• Leverage business data to formulate and present actionable recommendations
• Ensure data integrity and proper technical implementation of analytical tags
• Leverage financial insight and analytical skills to provide insight into online behaviors, activities and identify opportunities to optimize the online experience
• Assist with A/B and multivariate testing setup, execution and reporting
• Create comprehensive documentation across strategic recommendations and reporting
• Develop dashboards for ongoing monitoring
• Assist with QA effort of all creative and functional tagging throughout the site
• Identify gaps in the current data capture
• Collaborate with key team members to create holistic story and optimize strategy to improve KPIs
• Work with agency partners to implement tracking appropriately

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of related full-time experience working analytics and marketing
• Certified in Google Analytics
• Strong knowledge of excel
• Ability to look at data holistically to tell a story about consumer behavior

Demonstrated understanding of the following concepts as they relate to web analysis: analytical tag implementation and best practices, traffic metrics, pathing behavior, segmentation, funnel performance
