Sr. Electrical Engineer

LiquidPiston is looking for a motivated, self-starting Electrical Engineer to join its team.  This position will lead aspects of the development process including concept, design, simulation, prototyping, and testing. 
 
Required Skills/Experience:

• 7+ years experience in electrical design/test roles
• Analog / digital circuit design and documentation 
• System integration
• Sensors and controls integration with microcontrollers and PLCs
• Standard MS Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for generating presentations and documentation

Additional Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Relevant experience in generator sets, power distribution, and hybrid power systems
• Familiarity with CANBUS/MODBUS communication protocols
• PCB Layout and Design experience along with common tools such as EAGLE, KiCAD, etc
• Firmware development experience
• Power electronics design/testing experience and modeling with applicable software tools
• MATLAB/Octave/Labview experience
