Web Apps Intern Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Full Stack Web Apps Intern to join our team for the Summer of 2024. The intern will work closely with our experienced engineers to integrate Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) into our existing web applications. This internship will provide hands-on experience in developing and enhancing our web-based solutions, contributing to our mission of streamlining healthcare communication.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate Retrieval Augmented Generation capabilities into existing web applications
• Implement and optimize backend services to support web app functionality
• Collaborate with the Web Apps team to design, develop, and maintain full-stack React applications
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the codebase
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

Preferred Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• In their third or fourth year of undergraduate program
• Experience building full-stack React applications with a backend service
• Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python
• Familiarity with building applications using LLMs or foundational model providers
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Nice to have:

• Previous internship experience in full stack development or a related field
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal web development projects
