Internal Advisor

Location: Irvine, CA (On Site) | Type: Full Time | Pay: $50,000 - $70,000/year (Base + Bonus)

As an Internal Service Writer, you’re one of the most important team members at Norm Reeves Genesis.  You’re the most critical point of contact for our service department. We’re looking for a team player with an outgoing, customer-service approach to daily responsibilities.

You will check-in units for repairs, answering phones, quoting needed repairs, and maintaining contact with internal customers and technicians. You will also assist with workflow and perform other duties as assigned, includes opening, updating and closing work orders and other related activities, and preparing warranty claims.

What You’ll Do:

• Write and manage complete repair estimates and internal repair orders, including labor, parts, and accessories.
• Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely ordering and availability of needed components.
• Communicate repair progress and timelines to Sales and Used Car Managers.
• Inspect vehicles, review service history, and recommend additional necessary repairs.
• Build trust with internal customers by clearly explaining estimates, processes, and repair needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• Previous experience as an Internal Advisor, preferably in a dealership setting, is strongly preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
