Senior Product Manager
MakeAbout the role
Make is the leading visual platform for anyone to design, build, and automate anything—from tasks and workflows to apps and systems—without the need for coding skills. We are headquartered in the flourishing tech hub of Prague, Czech Republic, and our teams are spread across the USA, UK, Germany, France, Canada, India and Chile, among other locations.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead a critical team responsible for the "Build & Run" aspects of scenarios within Make. This role demands a technical individual with a strong background in process automation, who can champion the product strategy, drive rigorous prioritization, and ensure successful execution through clear and well-defined requirements. The ideal candidate will excel at navigating complex decisions, managing diverse stakeholders, and fostering a collaborative environment among contributing internal teams.
What you’ll do:
- Lead Product Strategy & Roadmap: Drive the product strategy and roadmap for scenario building, execution, and optimization within Make, aligning with the overall product vision. This includes identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing customer and market opportunities related to scenario design, execution engine, error handling, scenario lifecycle, scheduling, and data processing.
- Ensure Platform Quality & Reliability: Be responsible for the development of a business-critical platform, carefully managing breaking changes, and collaborating with the development team to triage and prioritize bugs to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of scenario execution. This also involves dealing with and carefully managing randomization.
- Foster Cross-functional Collaboration & Advocacy: Work within a product trio model, collaborating closely with an Engineering Manager and a Designer. Act as a key liaison to product marketing and user research, actively participating in stakeholder management to ensure alignment and collaboration across multiple internal teams. Represent the voice of the customer and advocate for platform improvements.
- Drive Innovation & Inspire the Team: Utilize AI in day-to-day activities to prototype ideas, craft artifacts, and enhance product management processes. Motivate and inspire the team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, and championing the team's vision and achievements through public speaking and stakeholder engagement.
- Deeply Understand Customer & Partner Needs: Continuously engage with customers, partners, and internal engineering and research teams to deeply understand their needs and deliver exceptional solutions for scenario building and running.
What we are looking for:
- Strong understanding of best practices in product management, agile development methodologies, and SaaS business models, with a specific understanding of process automation and workflow orchestration.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, proactive and collaborative individuals with exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- 5+ years of experience in a product management role, with a proven track record in leading technical products, ideally with a focus on process automation, integration platforms, or workflow engines.
- Experience utilizing AI tools and frameworks for prototyping, ideation, and artifact creation in a product management context.
- Proven ability to make complicated decisions, manage diverse stakeholders, and drive collaboration across multiple internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate individuals, speak up, and convince people through compelling arguments and data.
- Excellent written and verbal fluency in English.
- Experience with public speaking or presenting to large audiences is a plus.
- Experience as an advanced user of automation (Low-code and No-code), integration, SaaS APIs, and/or no-code software solutions is a plus.
