Job Description

The Patient Innovation and Engagement (PI&E) Team is accepting candidates pursuing a summer internship with an interest in patient engagement and patient advocacy with a desire to further understand the patient experience. Patient engagement is the active, meaningful, authentic, and collaborative interaction between patients/patient organizations and our company over the entire medicine's lifecycle, with the goal of achieving relevant and measurable patient and societal health outcomes.

Internship Focus

The focus for this internship is to support the PI&E Strategy lead with the:

  • Development, review, and deployment of new capabilities

  • Implementation of strategic solutions that integrate the patient voice into decision-making.

  • Collaboration with key stakeholders and colleagues to ensure successful execution of identified project(s)

The ideal candidate will have effective communication, strategic thinking, and time management skills. They should demonstrate project management experience, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a tech-savvy mindset. Strong interpersonal, networking, and cross-functional leadership skills are essential.

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Applicants must be in the process of earning a BA or BS in Business, Science, Marketing, or related program

Required Experience and Skills

  • Available to work full time 3 months (June – August)

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Power Project)

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Collaborative and positive mindset

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Initiative-taking and purposeful

Salary range:
The salary range for this role is $39,600.00-$105,500.00 USD
