QualDerm Partners is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our professional team. As a Dermatology Medical Assistant, you will work closely with our dermatology team to ensure efficient patient care and smooth operation of our clinic. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and taking detailed medical histories.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and various procedures and ensure that all necessary instruments and equipment are available.
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation.
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage all necessary office communications.
  • Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and appropriate skincare practices.
  • Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with the necessary supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly related to dermatology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software applications.

Compensation Range: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour. Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
