The Opportunity 

 

Join our team as a Maintenance Planner, where you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our SAP systems and managing parts inventory. This permanent, full-time position will report to the Maintenance Manager and is fully onsite. Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:   

 

• Process and manage work requests and orders.
• Prepare and define work orders, identifying necessary materials, parts, and labor.
• Coordinate equipment shutdowns and compile requisitions.
• Utilize computers and various software, including SAP.
• Maintain part inventory, order parts, and set inventory levels.
• Coordinate employee training and demonstrate leadership abilities.
• Comply with occupational safety and health standards.
• Collaborate professionally with internal teams and business partners.

  

 The Skills you will bring to the team

• High School Diploma or GED with one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in personal computer skills, including email, record keeping, and database activity.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
• Excellent safety, attendance, and punctuality record.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate necessary equipment.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as required.
• Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
