About Us
Food and beverage operations at Hayden Homes Amphitheater are a core part of the guest experience, serving hundreds of thousands of guests during live events each season. Our in house concessions program prioritizes speed, consistency, and quality in a high-volume environment. Concessions Line Cooks play a key role in keeping service efficient while maintaining strong food standards during every event.

Job Overview

As a Concessions Line Cook, you’ll work in a high volume concessions kitchen preparing food for guests during live concerts. This role is hands on and fast paced, with a strong focus on prep, batch cooking, and maintaining clean, organized stations throughout service.

Line cooks are typically assigned to a specific station such as fryer, grill, oven, or stocking and are expected to take ownership of that station for the duration of the shift. This includes preparing food in batches, stocking hot holding and warming cabinets, monitoring product levels, and communicating needs to the team so service stays smooth during peak rushes.

During shows, volume can spike quickly and without warning. Concessions Line Cooks are expected to anticipate demand, work with urgency, and operate at maximum efficiency to keep lines moving and guests served. This often means sustained periods of high output while balancing speed, food quality, and responsible product usage.

This kitchen produces classic, crowd-favorite concessions such as cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, waffle fries, corn dogs, and other high demand items. Cooks work with standard commercial kitchen equipment including propane grills, fryers, ovens, and hot holding units, and are expected to follow established procedures, operate equipment safely, and maintain strong food safety awareness at all times.

Attitude matters as much as experience in this role. Concessions Line Cooks are expected to work collaboratively, support teammates across stations, and stay focused during high pressure moments. A sense of humor, willingness to learn, and the ability to lock in and work hard when it counts are essential to success in this kitchen.
