Summary of Job Duties:

The Educational Leadership (EDLE) Program in the Department of Counseling, Leadership, and Research Methods in the College of Education and Health Professions at the University of Arkansas seeks a dynamic, innovative, collaborative, and enthusiastic colleague who will work with current faculty members in the preparation of K-12 leaders in the three graduate degree programs (i.e., school-level leadership master's, district-level leadership educational specialist, and doctorate in educational leadership). The program seeks applicants who have extensive experience as educational leaders at both the building and district levels. In addition, a successful applicant will have knowledge and skills related to connecting practice to teaching and scholarship. Applicants will be expected to hold a significant doctoral advisory load and serve as chair of doctoral-level dissertation committees.

All three graduate degree programs are offered synchronously online. While the courses are offered online, a consistent campus presence is expected to fulfill the other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities include collaborating with faculty in the design and implementation of curriculum, a significant amount of chairing and serving on student disse
