What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
Operates equipment and processes per SOPs and master batch records.
Understand key processes (e.g. manufacturing, cleaning, water systems) effectively responds alarms and proactively addresses equipment malfunctions and process deviations.
Notifies Team Lead, manager or appropriate individuals of equipment malfunctions and process deviations, including problems with systems or materials.
Works to resolve equipment and process problems as required.
Performs operator care of equipment as required.
Assists team lead and other technicians in maintaining and monitoring physical inventories to make sure supplies are available when needed.
Maintains records and logbooks
Communicates with other technicians to ensure necessary information is relayed and understood between the work teams
Ensures all work is performed in a safe manner and in accordance with established safety policies and regulations.
Trains new technicians in standards of expected performance and behavior.
Performs other related duties as assigned by team lead.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant experience
Ability to learn and use industry-standard software
Good interpersonal skills and experience in training others effectively
Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
Experience in food or dietary supplement manufacturing plant with blending experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Adaptability in handling changing work environments and priorities
Familiarity and basic understanding of common AI tools and a curiosity for learning how they can be used to enhance productivity
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing, walking, bending, climb stairs, able to lift 50lbs, movement of materials with pallet jack and other industrial equipment.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Overtime is required
