Job Description:

Advertising Technology (AdTech) is seeking a Sr. Manager to lead AdTech Identity and Data Enablement solutions. This role will partner closely with product, technology, and marketing teams to deliver critical AdTech data capabilities in 2024. The role will deliver integrated identity and targeting solutions bridging offline and online data for enterprise acquisition audience management capabilities. This role will help support data enablement for platforms and activations across multiple products including Google Marketing Platform, Meta, Discover AdTech Solutions (DAS) and AMZ Marketing Cloud. This person is responsible for managing and delivering a backlog of prioritized use cases, features and capabilities that achieve measurable value across lines of business. The role will need to be up-to-speed on the latest developments in MarTech and data privacy including 3rd-party cookie deprecation, vendor capabilities, and identity solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develops AdTech identity features in collaboration with Product and engineering teams
  • Partners with multiple stakeholders to deliver proof-of-concepts (POCs) and controlled-tests to prove the viability of various identity and data solutions
  • Understands stakeholder needs across performance marketers, platform and activation POs, and AdTech/DSP data requirements to translate into epics/features/stories
  • Creates measurement framework to prove efficacy of various data and identity approaches
  • Delivers clean-room capabilities for measurement, attribution and modeling
  • Develops and communicates strategic approach to identity and data enablement for AdTech
  • Writes user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira and ensures stories meet definition of “done”
  • Continually manages and prioritizes the program and sprint backlogs based on value
  • Stays abreast of AdTech identity and data trends in the marketplace; educates key stakeholders
  • Collaborates with Product Owners to uphold platform and activation priorities and vision
  • Helps bridge gap between acquisition and customer identity solutions (i.e. composable CDP) Develops product family vision and roadmap – ensures alignment with Business Director and POs in same product family. Partners with Business Director and POs developing, maintaining, and presenting the vision and overarching product roadmap to support business unit goals. 
  • Understands consumer and market needs and industry/competitive trends to identify market opportunities to drive values. Establishes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for value creation and efficiency for the product family and support POs in translating OKRs to the product teams. Establishes product Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to achieve, communicate priorities, decide which actions to take, prioritize features, and help build out long term strategies. Defines product family MVPs, prioritizing and accepting priorities in partnership with POs and architects. 
  • Defines functional and non-functional product requirements; ensuring completeness, integral and consistent; source of requirements for product family. When applicable, manage product family requirements (i.e., functional and non-functional requirements) and objectives with external partners (e.g., Apple, WIPRO, etc.) Ensures product features and processes align with applicable Discover compliance and risk management standards. 
  • Manages team of direct reports, responsible for people development and performance management, hiring and building team, coaching and mentoring 
  • Creates prototypes (e.g., MVPs, POC, etc.) based on customer feedback to test, learn, and validate ideas before committing to larger scale development. Synchronizes and aligns with Product Family POs on prioritization and delivery to maximize Product Family Value. 
  • Builds a culture of accountability and ownership by empowering the product family and setting clear expectations. Coaches product teams to eliminate risks and wastes, and to foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and learning. 

Minimum Qualifications

Here’s what we’ll need from you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related 
  • 8+ years’ experience with Product, Business, Technical, or related
