At our Phoenix MRO facility, we specialize in the repair of electronic aircraft components. As a Senior Operations Support Engineer, you won’t be stuck behind a desk—you’ll be embedded on the shop floor, working with technicians and engineers to support a critical product line. You’ll play a key role in diagnosing problems, implementing improvements, and keeping our customers’ fleets ready.

What You Will Do

  • Act as an liaison between circuit design groups and customer engineering to resolve design issues

  • Analyzing trends in undesirable test results and identifying opportunities for design improvements

  • Guide technicians through complex circuitry and component analysis to determine failure root causes

  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to improve processes

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive issue resolution

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Background in electronics engineering or related technical field

  • Working experience in the aerospace industry or similar manufacturing environment

  • Experience interacting with employees at all levels

  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Experience with continuous improvement processes and tools (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)

  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP system

  • Ability to occasionally provide weekend and holiday support to meet customer needs
