Radiologic Technologist - Delivering High-Quality Diagnostic Imaging for Patient Care
Job Overview:
Under the direction of a Radiologist and the supervision of a manager or supervisor, the Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries across a variety of outpatient cases.
This role is responsible for conducting quality imaging exams as prescribed by a physician, ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures, and delivering excellent patient care. The technologist will work closely with patients, families, and interdepartmental teams, maintaining accurate records, infection prevention protocols, and radiation safety while also contributing to student education and the onboarding of new employees.
Outpatient Focus Areas:
This position primarily serves outpatients, with a focus on: ✔️ Orthopedic patients ✔️ Podiatry patients ✔️ Spine imaging ✔️ Extremity imaging
The Radiologic Technologist will work day shifts, which may vary based on department scheduling needs. Typical shift schedule includes 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Work Locations: This position will flex across three locations based on operational needs:
- 📍 Kenwood at 8240 Northcreek Drive , Cincinnati, OH 45236
- 📍 Clifton at 379 Dixmyth Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45220
- 📍 Anderson, 7794 Five Mile Road, Cincinnati, OH 45230
Candidates must be comfortable rotating among these locations as needed.
Job Requirements:
✅ Education:
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Allied Health
- Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of a degree)
✅ Certifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Radiologic Technologist GXMO or ARRT & State License
✅ Technical Knowledge:
- Proficiency in radiography equipment and radiation safety practices
- Understanding of minor industrial injury care, light-duty assignments, and BWC processes
✅ Experience:
- Up to 1 year of clinical experience in an Allied Health medical or physician office setting

- Performs high-quality radiographic exams for accurate interpretation
- Selects proper imaging protocols and ensures compliance with department procedures
- Adheres to radiation safety guidelines, utilizing appropriate protective devices
- Conducts daily and monthly quality control assessments on equipment
🩺 Patient Care & Emergency Response
- Ensures comfort and care for patients before, during, and after procedures
- Recognizes and responds appropriately to emergency situations
- Provides education and support to patients and families
📋 Operational & Administrative Excellence
- Maintains accurate records and completes paperwork before submission
- Orients new team members to department protocols and regulations
- Demonstrates organizational and communication skills to enhance team collaboration
📚 Continuous Learning & Professional Development
- Completes mandatory education requirements, learning modules, and CEUs on time
- Participates in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvements
