Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer proficient in modern build systems and CI/CD to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Bazel, Yocto, Gitlab and the ability to write efficient, high-quality code in Linux environments. You will work on increasing the efficiency of the entire organization by building and automating multiple tools and systems used every day by hundreds of engineers. Responsibilities Design, build and manage a comprehensive build system using Bazel and Yocto to facilitate the development of linux images, services and libraries Develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines to ensure build stability and quality Develop Gitlab CI/CD pipelines to enable release management of linux images, services and libraries to multiple customers Inclusion of various static analysis tools such as clang-tidy, clang-format and valgrind into the build system to ensure code quality Enable validation of all services and libraries by ensuring integration of unit test frameworks such as Gtest and Gmock into the build system Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience with the Bazel, Yocto, Bitbake and Makefile Strong Git skills (repo tools, submodules, git-lfs) Proficient with Linux/Bash/Python Passion for build systems and CI/CD Preferred Qualifications Gitlab/GitHub/Jenkins CI experience Arm64 (OSX/embedded) cross compilation experience Universal Package Management (Conda) Rust Dependency Management (Cargo/Crates) Python Dependency Management (Pip) Virtualization Environment Experience (Docker/Podman) Total Rewards We build the exceptional — and we believe the people doing that work should be rewarded accordingly.
