Maintenance Trainee

The Maintenance Trainee position will develop their skills to become a Multi Craft Maintenance Technician. The trainee will provide maintenance support to the operations support department while learning the required skills of a Maintenance Technician.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Perform minor equipment modifications and improvements from work orders and TPM activity.
• Complete maintenance work orders on process and facility equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment systems to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and perform adjustments as necessary.
• Moving and organizing equipment, scrap steel or any other items as needed with tow motor/overhead crane.
• Required to drive tow motor, floor scrubber, Genie lift, etc.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe working environment with equipment and materials located in proper locations in accordance with 5S standards inside and outside of facility.
• Ability to work all designated shifts.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
• Completion of electrical training from a credited institute is required
• Completed hydraulic and pneumatic training from a credited institute is preferred
• Must complete Industrial Maintenance or College program within 2 years
