Our IT landscape on the Azure Cloud focuses strongly on Business Continuity Management (BCM) and High Availability. To further strengthen our IT Resilience, we have set up a dedicated program of work and are looking for an experienced <strong>BCM and Resilience Architect.</strong></p> <p>You will join our Düsseldorf team of international Senior IT Solution, Security, and Enterprise Architects who guide internal and external development teams in defining and advancing IT architecture to meet business and IT needs. In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Collaborate with business stakeholders to discuss business continuity requirements and ensure the cloud IT architecture meets those needs, considering IT cost and possible workarounds</p> </li> <li> <p>Guide the design of cloud architectures that prioritize resilience, incorporating redundancy, failover mechanisms, and other techniques to maximize robustness and minimize recovery times</p> </li> <li> <p>Evaluate different resiliency patterns, such as redundancy or break-glass procedures, and their impact on operations, complexity, and performance</p> </li> <li> <p>Advance monitoring and alerting systems to quickly detect deviations from normal operations and initiate analysis and recovery actions</p> </li> <li> <p>Align with our Information Security Architects to protect Uniper’s IT assets</p> </li> <li> <p>Establish a continuous resilience improvement practice based on operational data such as incidents, resolution times, RCAs, and cloud cost consumption</p> </li> </ul>    </p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span>Your profile</span></strong></p> <p><br/><ul type="disc"> <li>Excellent communication and presentation skills to collaborate effectively with both business and IT teams on resilience options and trade-offs</li> <li>Proven Azure Cloud Architecture expertise</li> <li>Deep understanding of Azure cloud resiliency patterns</li> <li>Development experience is an advantage</li> <li>English is our working language; German skills are a plus but not required</li> </ul> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span>Your benefits</span></strong></p>   <span><span>At Uniper, we not only reward our employees with attractive salaries, an excellent company pension and health related benefits for their hard work and dedication to shaping the future energy transition.
