Job Summary: The Web Content & Program Guide Supervisor ensures the City of Greeley's Culture Parks and Recreation’s public-facing information is accurate, timely, consistent, and easy for residents to navigate. This role leads all website content updates across CPRD’s divisions and manages the full production cycle of the Recreation Program Guide ensuring high-quality, reliable information that reflects CPRD’s operational needs. The Supervisor oversees CPRD’s network of content coordinators, establishes content standards and workflows, and provides a unified voice across dozens of webpages and hundreds of program listings. This position is deeply embedded in CPRD operations and requires close coordination with supervisors, facility staff, programmers, and ticketing staff to support fast-moving, detail-heavy program environments. Strong project management skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage ambiguity across divisions are essential to ensuring residents always have accurate, up-to-date information.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills:

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Administration, Digital Content, Recreation Management, Project Management, or related field

  • Four (4) years of experience in website content management, digital content workflows, or project management.

     

OR 

 

  • Any combination of related education, experience, certifications and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job,

AND 

 

  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.

 

Preferred

  • Experience in parks & recreation, cultural programming, government, community services, or events.

  • Familiarity with ADA digital accessibility requirements

  • Experience supervising staff, contributors, or interns.

  • Experience managing recurring publications, catalogs, or guides.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and frequent, high-volume changes.

  • Experience producing content within high-volume, fast-paced, or operationally complex environments.

  • Strong writing, editing, and fact-checking skills

  • Experience leading or coordinating a distributed group of contributors

  • Proficiency with content management systems, digital publishing tools, and basic document layout tools.

  • Comfortable working in an operational environment with same-day or same-hour updates

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to bring clarity to ambiguous or incomplete information

  • Strong collaboration and communication across diverse staff groups

  • Availability during seasonal program launches, guide production periods, and time-sensitive operational needs

 

Travel

  • Category A-Standard Local Travel: This position requires occasional local travel within the County. Employees may be expected to walk or drive short distances to attend meetings, trainings, or perform work at other city buildings or partner sites.
