About the Role

As a Stitch Fix Product Manager, you play a key role in shaping one of Stitch Fix’s highest priority departments: the client experience. Your mission is to define, develop, build, and launch engaging products aimed at delivering delightful client experiences to assist customers through their style journey. An end-to-end scope, you think through the full product lifecycle lens, and prioritize building compelling reasons for clients to return and continuously re-engage. You will support Product Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive style visualization innovation, client relationship building, and continuous product evolution.

  • Champion Innovative Product Ideas: You focus on understanding client needs, and can balance those against strategic business initiatives. You are a deep thinker and undertake robust yet efficient product discovery to uncover insights and identify solutions. You're a team player, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to conduct market research, deliver competitive analyses, and intake cross-departmental points of view to gain alignment and earn trust. 
  • Data Driven Approach: You are skilled at leveraging hard data as well as anecdotal client data to either define net-new products, or recommend product ideation on existing platforms. You are passionate about driving client engagement and retention, and leverage experimentation and client testing to balance the art of fashion and style with data science. You are proactive, and champion product development best practices as your working method. 
  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: You are comfortable working at all levels of the business, and drive efficient communication and working relationships with Product Leadership, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Styling Operations, Merchandising, and Data Science throughout the entirety of the product development lifecycle. You are a thoughtful collaborator, skilled at building relationships, and ensure a deep understanding of how the business operates.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have the right breadth of experience: 5+ years of product management, ideally in retail e-commerce and or technology. You are a feature delivery owner, skilled in tradeoff and prioritization, defining strategic vision and corresponding roadmaps, and end-to-end product delivery execution. 
  • You’re well-prepared for this opportunity: you have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, or quantitative-based equivalent discipline. You have a proven background in articulating business cases, and effectively communicate your vision cross-functionally. 
  • You possess strong technical & analytics skills: You are skilled at defining a/b experimentation, and leveraging data to influence leaders at all levels of the business. You possess exemplary written and verbal communication skills. 
  • You are results-oriented: You leverage your knowledge in data and statistical analytics to define, measure, and recommend go-forward improvement opportunities. You are well-versed in Agile and SMART goals.  
  • Of your strong product sense: A keen product sense and experience working closely with Product Design and UX teams to craft delightful user experiences.
