The Field Service Coordinator (FSC) provides professional support and assistance to the Service Team at Varian with processing service work orders as it relates to maintaining and servicing Varian equipment.

The FSC is responsible for evaluating, processing and releasing Work Orders, reviewing service contracts and engaging resource related billing (RRB) to ensure accuracy and completeness. The FSC also investigates work order discrepancies/errors and coordinates operational deadlines with all responsible parties to ensure timely processing and resolution of work order notifications.

Requirements and Qualifications

Experience:

• 2–3 years in a related administrative, coordination, or service support role.
• Proven ability in processing documentation or requests, billing, contract support, workflow process support.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to learn and use enterprise systems for work order management.

Soft Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Capacity to work independently with limited supervision.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A bachelor’s degree can substitute for part of the experience but is not required.

Preferred Qualifications

• ERP/Business Systems: Experience with SAP, Workday, or equivalent service management/billing systems.
• Industry Knowledge: Background in healthcare, medical devices, or technical service operations.
• Service Contract Management: Prior experience reviewing, processing, or managing service contracts.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to investigate discrepancies/errors and resolve them effectively.
• Team Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally with service engineers, finance, and customers.

The annual base pay for this position is:

Min $49,100 - Max $73,600
