Pay:                 $23 - $25/hr.

Schedule:        7:30am - 4:00pm / Monday - Friday, varied with an option to pick up additional nights & weekend hours

Joining our Transportation team, as a CDL Driver with a P designation your role is heavy customer service with our residents and as you take them to events, shopping, doctor appointment, etc. With a smile, you will interact in-person with residents in independent living and Acacia Health Center. Assist residents with getting in/out vehicles. Transport residents in cars, vans, and passenger buses.

Who you are:

• High school/GED graduate.
• Valid AZ CDL with a P designation 
• Strong customer service and hospitality skills. Always courteous! 
• Arizona Level 1 Clearance Fingerprint Card – current.
• CPR/1st Aid/AED certified
• Experience in transportation, scheduling and CRM platforms strongly preferred
• Answers, responds, schedules transportation requests as needed
• Assists Transportation Supervisor in maintaining transportation portal
• Provides coverage for Transportation Supervisor as needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

Able to sit in a vehicle for up to six (6) hours per day; must be able to stoop, bend, stretch and squat to load and unload cargo areas.  Must have the ability to perform routine preventive maintenance on vehicles according to schedule.  Keep vehicles clean. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds for handling luggage and resident groceries. Must be able to transport residents via wheelchair or other devices up to 250 pounds. May be exposed to the elements (rain, cold, wind, heat) for short periods of time. Must have good driving skills in handling vehicles on wet and/or slippery roads. Compliance with LCE COVID-19 Vaccination Policy is required for this position for all LCS Community employees.
