Program Manager 4-ProdDev

The Oracle Dedicated Cloud Product Solutions Engineering team is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Technical Program Manager leading execution behind the development of both Dedicated Region Cloud @Customer (DRCC) and  Oracle Alloy. You should be passionate about delivering services to customers while also possessing a deep understanding of strategic business objectives. You will manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental and cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical and business skills in this area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction to others. This role requires experiences working within or alongside product management, leadership skills, and strong business judgment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) at all levels across an organization.
• Experience with cloud services and Data Center networking.
• Understanding of cloud competitive landscape, customer priorities and challenges.
• Experience using agile software development practices and associated tooling such as Jira.
• Ability to think broadly and strategically.
• Maturity, judgment, negotiation, influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills
• Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment.
• Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly.
• Ability to create detailed engagement plans to keep up with the high velocity of features being delivered on the platform.
• Demonstrated ability to drive programs and projects to completion.

Responsibilities

• Gathering feature requests as well as feedback and influencing product direction.
• Owning the strategy and the execution plan for the new cutting-edge platform with a strong focus on customer excellence and delivery timelines.
• Working closely with engineering teams translating business requirements into technical requirements to help shape the product.
• Driving alignment on product features, business metrics, and business strategies.
• Assisting in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives for exponential customer and partner adoption.
• Be the voice of customers and partners with Oracle’s various cloud engineering teams.

US: Hiring Range: from $87,800 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
