THE JOB:
The Senior Manager of Technology Sourcing plays a critical role in managing sourcing activities and projects for MGM Resorts International and its subsidiaries. You'll oversee an extensive portfolio of technology categories, including retail, gaming, telecom, network, security/surveillance, human resources, digital marketing, entertainment, and more. Your work will directly impact the innovation and efficiency of our organization.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Manage and support sourcing efforts for technology-related products and services across MGM Resorts International’s properties, technology departments, and business units.
Develop and issue comprehensive RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, conducting detailed analyses to determine the best value for the company.
Collaborate with stakeholders and executive leadership to align on contract and spend reviews while fostering trusted partnerships.
Create and execute robust negotiation strategies to secure favorable contract terms and drive cost savings.
Perform total cost analyses, benchmark costs, and identify pricing trends to ensure contracts meet industry standards.
Craft and execute detailed category strategies, including annual savings plans, while identifying innovative opportunities for improvement.
Develop supplier relationships, identify qualified diverse vendors, and uncover new sourcing opportunities to enhance the company’s technology ecosystem.
Partner with IT compliance to verify supplier adherence to gaming jurisdiction requirements.
Work with finance, legal, corporate security, and risk teams to deliver performance-driven agreements that support MGM Resorts’ strategic goals.
Summarize contract statuses, deliver strategic recommendations, and report on trends and results to executive leadership.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of prior relevant experience in strategic sourcing, with a focus on Technology sourcing.
Build relationships with stakeholders and Executive Leadership to facilitate contract and spend review process.
Create and execute a negotiation strategy.
