Join Our Team as an After School Leader — Kailua & Kāneʻohe

Do you love working with children and making a difference in your community? We’re hiring After School Leaders to support elementary-aged keiki in fun, enriching programs at our Kailua and Kāneʻohe locations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead activities that promote creativity, learning, and teamwork
  • Ensure a safe, engaging, and supportive environment
  • Be a role model and mentor for children in our after-school program

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday, afternoon hours (typically 1:30–5:30 PM)
  • Great for college students, retirees, or anyone looking for meaningful part-time work!

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children preferred (paid or volunteer)
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine love for kids
  • CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain—we can help!)

A Typical Day in Our After School Program Might Include:

  • Greeting children and welcoming them to the program.
  • Helping kids settle down with a snack and assisting with homework.
  • Engaging in fun activities such as board games, crafts, and outdoor play.
  • Facilitating group activities like talent shows, Lego-building contests, or creating slime.
  • Connecting with families when they pick up their children.
