Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 87,500 sq. ft. production facility with 200 employees.
Job Description
- Monitoring of production in line with specifications along the value chain.
- Performing visual and dimensional tests in accordance with the test plan (without using large-scale measuring equipment such as coordinate measuring machines and Zwick testing machines)
- Carrying out product-specific measurements (e.g. particle analysis)
- Special measurements of components and assemblies according to specifications
- Quality control release of production orders (e.g. for batch start-up)
- Verification of test results
- Reaction in case of deviation according to internal processes
- Support for measurement system analyses
- Continuous Improvement / 5S
- Compliance with standards and in-house regulations (SOPs, BVs, etc.)
Qualifications
Knowledge as acquired during a learning phase of several weeks.
EDP/IT user knowledge (especially MES)
- Good knowledge of the required QM guidelines
- Basic knowledge of test methods and measurement technology
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g. products and processes)
- Ability to work in a team
- Reliability
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
