General Maintenance Technician

Pay: $37400 - $52000 / year (paid hourly)

Schedule: M - F; day shift (rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance - additional compensation provided)

Location: Corvallis, OR | HP campus

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our JLL team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the property's physical condition, responding to customer maintenance requests, and ensuring our site remains safe and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer maintenance requests and complete repairs efficiently

• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property

• Handle plumbing repairs including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and toilet repairs

• Complete basic electrical repairs such as replacing light fixtures

• Maintain HVAC systems including filter changes, basic troubleshooting, and coordinating with specialized contractors when needed

• Make drywall repairs, patch holes, and paint interior spaces

• Perform appliance diagnostics and repairs

• Maintain common areas, including landscaping oversight and cleaning

• Adhere to all safety protocols and building codes

• Maintain inventory of supplies and tools

• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance issues

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in property maintenance or related field

• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs throughout the day

• EPA certification preferred but not required

• HVAC certification a plus
