Job Description

We are looking for a Medical Operations Program Manager to lead and execute Indiana's statewide medical operations initiative. This position will be Full-Time and Hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the operational lead for statewide implementation and execution

  • Develop and manage comprehensive implementation plans, timelines, milestones, and performance measures

  • Oversee contracted vendor and sub-recipient performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, budgets, deliverables, reporting requirements, and grant expectations

  • Monitor program budgets and recommend corrective actions as needed

  • Identify implementation risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams across healthcare, EMS, trauma systems, emergency management, public safety, and governmental partners

  • Convene and facilitate diverse public and private partners to build consensus and advance statewide objectives

  • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and recommendations for Division leadership

  • Represent client in statewide and national meetings related to healthcare coordination, trauma systems, emergency preparedness, and medical operations

  • In-state travel is expected

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Emergency Management, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience leading complex healthcare, emergency management, trauma systems, EMS, public health, or statewide implementation initiatives

  • Demonstrated experience overseeing contracts, vendors, sub-recipient awards, budgets, deliverables, and grant compliance

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across public and private sector organizations

  • Experience working on high-profile public sector initiatives involving executive leadership

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and relationship management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without formal authority and build consensus among diverse stakeholders

Preferred:

  • Experience working autonomously under the strategic direction of executive leadership

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

  • Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
