Position: Medical Assistant
Location: Lakewood, CO
Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week (four - 9-hour days)

We have been treating adult and pediatric patients for nearly 52 years who suffer with allergies, asthma and immunology-related illnesses.
Position Purpose: These non-exempt, full-time positions are responsible for direct and indirect care of adult and pediatric patients under the direction of the physicians, Clinic Manager and Office Administrative Manager. We are looking for positive, experienced, responsible individuals to contribute depth & knowledge to our busy practice.
Responsibilities:
- Shows competency in Clinic Assistant I and II Skill Modules within 120 days of employment; Clinic Assistant III Skill Modules within first year of employment
- Shows competency in basic computer skills
- Assures patient satisfaction by working as a team member with all personnel
- Vitals, skin testing, spirometry, patient education and phone triage
- Front Desk & Cross-Training duties, to include:
- o Answering front desk phones
- o Check in/check out of patients
- o Scheduling appointments
- o Processing billing and insurance information
- o Showing compliance with insurance regulations
- Demonstrates flexibility, professionalism and a high-level of motivation
- Maintains open communication and a team-oriented work environment with all departments and all levels of personnel
- Takes initiative and is a self-starter
- One half day Saturday per month rotation
- Performs additional duties as deemed necessary
- OSHA and HIPAA Compliant

Qualifications
Prerequisites:
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant School or
- Licensed Medical Technician, EMT, CNA or
- Combination of experience and education
- Experience with adult and pediatric patients preferred
- Current CPR Certification
