If your answer is “yes,” you should join T-Mobile’s All-Star Legal Team!We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic legal team as Sr. Corporate Counsel – Intellectual Property Litigation. You will be a key contributor, actively working on and managing all aspects of intellectual property litigations and disputes. Your primary responsibilities will focus on resolving patent disputes, but you will also work on other types of intellectual property issues. You will partner with other lawyers in the Legal Department and business clients to proactively mitigate IP risk and deliver advice that aligns potential risk mitigation with T-Mobile’s business objectives.

What you’ll do in your role.
- Manage and lead teams of internal and external resources to achieve successful outcomes for T-Mobile
- Develop case strategies, including selecting and managing outside counsel, and setting and managing litigation budgets
- Manage all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motion practices, discovery, dispute resolution, trial, and appeals
- Respond to third-party subpoenas
- Manage licensing outreach and indemnity relationships
- Partner with colleagues and business leaders to advise on legal strategy and risk in the context of business goals and objectives
- Monitor new developments and emerging issues in intellectual property law and assess related legal risks
- Drive departmental initiatives and integrate learned lessons to achieve team goals, increase efficiency, and better serve the business’ evolving needs
The experience you’ll need to bring.
- Juris Doctorate or international equivalent.
- 7-10 years of relevant litigation experience, preferably including experience at a top-tier law firm, with significant experience handling trials, hearings, depositions, and/or arbitrations.
- Broad knowledge of patent law and patent litigation before U.S. District Courts and, preferably, the USPTO.
- Exceptional legal writing skills, including drafting and editing complex legal arguments, and outstanding attention to detail.
- Active bar license to practice law in the state or jurisdiction where the employee will be practicing (or ability to obtain upon hiring).

- A demonstrated ability to effectively manage outside counsel and cases within budget
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- At least 18 years of age

Base Pay Range: $144,100 - $260,000Corporate Bonus Target: 20%
