Senior Tax Associate

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses according to federal, state, and local tax laws
• Review tax returns for accuracy and identifying issues that may require additional research or explanation to the client
• Prepare tax returns for individuals, families, and businesses by calculating tax liability based on income and deductions
• Review financial records and other documents to determine taxable income for individuals or businesses
• Research tax laws to determine how new legislation impacts existing laws and planning strategies accordingly
• Prepare reports and documentation of tax filings and results to support audits and appeals
• Coordinate with other members of the accounting team to ensure that all work meets professional standards
• Prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses according to federal, state, and local tax laws
• Communicate with clients to answer questions about their tax obligations and provide advice about how to meet those obligations

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant License (or CPA eligible) 
• 2+ years of experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Relationship building skills

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000
