Description
Yale School of Medicine, Section of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is seeking a candidate to be the Director of our rapidly growing innovative Tele-ICU program and a member of the core group of critical care faculty in our large multi-disciplinary medical intensive care unit. This academic position will be filled at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor commensurate with qualifications. Prior training or experience with data analytics and data acquisition for quality purposes from an EMR is desirable. Candidates are expected have outstanding skills in the clinical and educational arena. Particular emphasis is placed on prior experience in Tele-ICU, skill in educating resident and fellow trainees, ability to participate in quality improvement efforts, and strength in interpersonal communication and teamwork. Successful applicants are expected to lead our tele-ICU team and contribute to the clinical, educational, and research missions of the Section.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements include: Clinical experience in critical care with a prior leadership, and board certification in pulmonary and critical care medicine.
