Deputy Dist. Maintenance Administrator
This position will oversee the operation of Districtwide Maintenance programs to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, applicable laws and rules.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
Supervises employees spending the majority of the time communicating with, motivating, training, evaluating employees, and planning and directing employees’ work. Has the authority to effectively recommend the hiring, transferring, suspension, lay off, recalls, promotions, discharges, assignments, rewards, or disciplinary actions for subordinate employees. Plans and directs workloads, deadlines, work objectives and time utilization with subordinate staff. Provides direction and ensures that all subordinates receive training and instruction in methods and techniques necessary to safely perform their assigned tasks.
Perform highly advanced transportation engineering duties for the District Maintenance Program. Administer, direct, and oversee the operation of district wide maintenance operational programs and functional areas as assigned by the District Maintenance Engineer (DME), which may include: Maintenance Operations; Maintenance Budget Preparation, Fleet Operations; Industrial Safety, Transportation Statistics, Fixed Capital Outlay (FCO), Maintenance Management Systems (MMS), Roadway Characteristics Inventory (RCI) program, Maintenance Rating P
