Nightwing is supporting a U.S. Government customer on a large mission critical development and sustainment program to design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment including introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats. Nightwing is seeking an Agile Coach which will act as a servant leader, drive relentless improvements and challenge their Agile Teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Exhibit the behaviors of a Lean-Agile Leader with a Lean-Agile Mindset. Help the team embrace Lean-Agile Values, adopt and apply Lean-Agile Principles, and implement Lean-Agile practices

• Drives the journey towards high-performing teams and ARTs through transparency, team empowerment and continuous learning in order to promote Business Value delivery

• Manages and optimizes the flow of value through the ART, working with RTEs to facilitate ART level events (including I&A, SoS) in helping to manage risks and dependencies��escalating impediments as needed

• Deliver SAFe course enablement trainings to teach and inspire others, allowing participants to seek further education, guidance and/or obtain certifications of their own

• Produce and present ART level metrics to help the ARTs improve and take responsibility for their actions; teach problem-solving techniques and support the Scrum Masters/Team Coaches to encourage learning among their own Agile Teams

• Facilitate PI Planning readiness, work with RTEs to organize and conduct the PI Planning event in conjunction with Product Management, Architects, Epic Owners, and Business Owners

• Help the Product Management to build foundational knowledge and support their efforts to manage and prioritize the ART Feature Backlog, generate a Vision, and build Roadmaps

• Define and document the ART’s development value stream. Coach ART members on understanding their value stream, measure the flow and relentlessly improve on the ART’s value flow

Required Skills:

• U.S. Citizenship required

• Active Secret clearance and must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

• Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability

• This is a remote position

• 10+ years of directly relevant experience

• 2+ years of Agile experience and recent hands-on experience as a successful Scrum Master OR Release Train Engineer

• Solid problem solving and influencing skills

• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills

• Experience working with various audiences, both technical and non-technical

• Experience working on software development teams and understand both SDLC and Agile Framework

• Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming

• Proficient in using Jira software

Desired Skills:

• Experience working with Agile tools including Jira Align and Confluence

• Domain knowledge in Cyber Security

• Working knowledge in various technologies to include Cloud Computing, Big Data, DevSecOps, and Automation

• Ensure clear communication working alongside Release Train Engineers and Scrum Masters/Team Coaches to remove impediments

• Responsible for helping the ARTs towards success in meeting PI objectives

• Thorough understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

• Ability to apply Agile best practices and techniques (Scrum/Kanban/XP) to facilitate Team and ART level activities.

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.

Desired Certifications:

- DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II

- AWS Solution Architect – Professional
