The Boeing Commercial Program Engineering team supports four L4 Value Streams within Environmental & Airframe Control Systems (EACS):  777X, 787, 777 & Legacy Programs, and Business Development. These activities span the Engineering Product Development Lifecycle from Capture & Proposal through Operational Support.

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run May/June- December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

What You Will Do:

  • Support risk and opportunity management process for specific projects / programs

  • Support project management of tasks assigned to them – this may include coordinating and supporting the certification testing for various components within EACS.

  • Support Root Cause & Corrective Action investigations

  • Support reliability improvement projects for the 787 and/or legacy Boeing programs (e.g. 777, 767, 747, etc.)

  • Prepare and participate and support program meetings as directed by technical manager.

  • Effectively employ Standard Work within the Collins Management System across specific projects/ programs

  • Support execution of tasks as necessary to achieve critical internal and external customer deliverables and milestones.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract ​

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Good communication skills

  • Competent use of MS Office suite

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
