Software Project Manager

SysLogic is actively seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to join our team. Within SysLogic, the Software Project Manager works to oversee software, cybersecurity or analytics-based projects. They work closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners and technical teams to provide robust oversight and execution of projects and initiatives across our organization.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide thorough and data-based approaches to executing project management tasks.
• Develop a culture of credibility and respect amongst all levels of the organization.
• Execute comprehensive and thorough communication across the organization. Often changing approach to best fit audience.

• Experience addressing facilitating communication with a variety of audiences and stakeholders.
• Will manage timelines and deliverables to ensure project progress is made as planned or manage change as necessary.
• Demonstrated experience leading and influencing individuals and teams without formal organizational control.

• Participate in both traditional waterfall and agile ceremonies, ability to bridge gaps where necessary.
• Work with a variety of data exports to present reports and presentations to team as necessary.

• Manage budget and variable expenses as assigned.
• Work within the product development lifecycle to lead execution of teams in utilizing best practices and approaches.
• Maintain JIRA and MS Project environments with accurate and timely updates and configurations.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent analytical, logical and project management skills.
• High level of personal credibility at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in changing communication style based on audience (technical, non-technical, executive through individual contributor.)
• Experience with data manipulation and presentation, such as Excel Pivot Tables (or equivalent) to organize data from different sources used to communicate information to the team and stakeholders.
• Strong background working with JIRA and MS Project.
• Previous referenceable experience managing teams of 3 or more developers/technologists through the full Software/Hardware Development Lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience working within an Agile, Scrum or SAFe environment as a Project Manager or Scrum Master. Deep understanding of the roles within the agile methodology.
• Project based experience within software development, data analytics or cyber-security highly desired.
