Summary of Job Duties:

Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Director of Administrative Services/Office Manager will work collaboratively across all units in the Department of Athletics, including overall Office Management for the Director's Office and the Department, Business Operations and Human Resources.

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. In addition, the successful candidate is someone with high energy and a positive attitude who will be flexible and adaptive to change, while demonstrating problem solving skills and the ability to employ ingenuity in their work. Excellent communication, interpersonal, project management, organizational, and leadership skills are desired. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.


Qualifications:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate's Degree

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree;

  • Office Management Experience;

  • Customer Service Experience;

  • Experience in Intercollegiate Athletics/Higher Education setting preferred.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for daily office operations;

  • Receive calls, emails and disseminates correspondence4 to constituents;

  • Prepare reports, letters, forms and documents;

  • Assist in maintaining records in Workday platform;

  • Manage calendars and other schedules;

  • Assist in execution of duties in multiple areas (Business Operations, Human Resources, etc.);

  • Assist with preparing/distributing meeting agendas;

  • Take detailed minutes for staff meetings as needed;

  • Provides logistical support for events and meetings.

  • Maintain and purchase supplies in support of unit;

  • Comply with all applicable NCAA, Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) and UA Little Rock regulations;

  • Other related duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
