Parts Driver

Our growing team has open positions for full- and part-time delivery drivers. Full time hours are 7:30-4pm. Parts time hours would be 10am-2pm daily. Parts drivers are responsible for delivering parts orders to our wholesale accounts. Deliveries range from collision orders to engines and transmissions. Drivers are expected to help maintain an accurate inventory and pick customer orders.

Job Description:

• Check inventory of the parts deliveries to make sure every order is accurate.
• Provide customers with friendly customer service.
• Some warehouse work and heavy lifting is required.
• Loading and unloading of vehicle will be necessary throughout the day.
• There are no set amount of delivery stops per day – some days you may have 10 stops, other days you may have 20.
• Inspect, operate and maintain the vehicle and its cleanliness.
• Collect payments whenever necessary.
• Maintain a log of all deliveries and related information for reference and confirmation.
• Deliver all parts to customers for their scheduled time.
• Ensure accuracy of deliveries and invoices.
• Take customer returns when requested by accounts.

Environmental & Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 50 pounds
• A current valid driver’s license and insurability rating is required
• This position may require up to 95% travel during working hours.

• Experience in the automotive Parts Field is preferred but not required.
• Customer service and organization skills
• Familiarity with the vehicle products (a plus)
• Time Management is required as you will need to ensure all deliveries are made within an efficient timeframe
• Valid Drivers license for a minimum of 2yrs.
• A good motor vehicle record
• Maintain a professional personal appearance.
