Summary

This position is responsible for the delivery of Tyson Foods orientation programs at the designated facility to supervisor/management, clerical/management support, and hourly team members. Join us in a dynamic role where you will have the opportunity to shape the onboarding experience and contribute to the growth and development of our team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate New Hire Orientation: Covering essential topics such as safety, policies and procedures, knife skills, food safety, and more.
• Complete Documentation: Ensure all training sessions are properly documented.
• Assimilate New Team Members: Help new hires transition smoothly into their assigned jobs.
• Daily Follow-Up: Engage with hourly team members on the production floor to provide ongoing support.
• Clerical Tasks: Assist with data entry for training tracking and other administrative duties.
• Plan and Schedule Training: Organize participants and specific training programs effectively.
• Monitor and Track Training: Keep detailed records of all training activities.
• Develop and Update Safety Documents: Assist in creating and revising Job Safety Analysis and job breakdown sheets.
• Maintain Training Materials: Ensure all necessary training materials are in stock.
• Continuous Improvement: Seek and assess ways to enhance orientation and new hire training.
• Special Events Training: Assist with training for special events as needed.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as required.

Requirements

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: 1+ years' experience in training or food processing (preferred).
• Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite software preferred.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Travel: 1 to 3 trips per year.
