Job Summary:
The Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales in the commercial equipment installation and service repair sector. This role involves managing sales leads, overseeing the scheduling of service, repairs, and installations, and ensuring seamless communication with technicians to ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ordering materials and maintaining efficient schedules for preventive maintenance (PM) and service work
- Generate new sales and manage existing accounts for commercial equipment installation and service repairs
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, offering solutions, and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Oversee the service and repair jobs, ensuring technicians perform quality work and address customer concerns promptly
- Communicate daily with technicians to ensure proper job execution and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation or service
- Ensure timely procurement of necessary materials and equipment required for installations, repairs, and service jobs
- Maintain accurate records of sales, job progress, and customer communications, reporting on status to management as necessary
- Work closely with the internal team, including technicians and management, to ensure smooth execution of projects and customer satisfaction
- Track and report on performance metrics, including sales figures, job completion rates, and customer feedback
- Engages and partners with third party lead generating team to promote sales growth
- Manages, processes, and tracks all incoming lead, follows up with open leads
- Ensures the accuracy of all reports and accounting records
- Continually searches for ways to improve results and effectiveness
- Follows all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- 1+ years of sales/customer service or related experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Intermediate computer skills and able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of sales experience within a construction/HVAC or home services environment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and receiving positive feedback<
