Reporting Relationships: This position reports to the Procure-to-Pay and Process Improvement Director.

Responsibilities: The Supply Chain Technology Manager will have responsibility for designing, implementing and managing technical solutions (software, AI and ML) with aim to enable efficiencies and standardization related to different aspects of Supply Chain such as: category strategy, market intelligence, sourcing and negotiations, contracting, procurement, supplier on-boarding and certification, vendor master data management, Supplier performance, supplier risks, supplier relationship management and other Supply Chain activities across AES global supply chain operations.

Specific responsibilities include:

· Assessment, optimization and upgrade of existing technologies

· Identification, assessment and deployment new tools and solutions

· Lead the implementation and manage the new tool to support AES’s Supply Chain operations: (a) review all existing supplier platforms (Supply Chain, Accounts Payable, etc.) and identify which should be included, excluded, merged or replaced, (b) design and content creation in coordination with internal customers and non-Supply Chain users, (c) manage the coordination with 3rd party resources, (d) plan and design the integration with ERPs, (e) change management, training and communication of impacted AES people, and (f) lead testing/roll-out/training/cutover and support activities.

· Improve management of master data (cleansing, nomenclature, standardization, validation, de-duplication, policy review and integration) across all supply chain tools and explore opportunities for reporting automation.

· Manage Supply chain tools, monitor technical development for tool upgrade and optimization, update tool as needed to grow and adapt to organizational requirements

· Analyze systems data, build Data reports and Key Performance Indicators in AES data visualization tool and track performance

· Manage the technical support, administration and governance of system(s), internally with end users as needed, and externally with 3rd party technical support services

· Interact directly with other regional sourcing/supply chain Managers, Buyers, tools’ users and approvers and internal

stakeholders in the management of enterprise wide technologies and governance of existing programs

· Continuously monitor the market for new solutions or enhancements to existing products, evaluate such products, prepare business case(s) for purchase/adoption

· Represent AES and advance AES’ interests and priorities with existing vendors, in user forums; act as point-of-contact externally for systems related matters

· Promote the usage and adoption of systems internally, within Supply Chain and across AES

· Develop and maintain positive relationships with major internal stakeholders at all levels.

· Serves as a source of Digitalization knowledge and experience

Experience and Qualifications: The successful candidate will have minimum of 5+ years successful experience in and deep knowledge of Supply Chain processes related to sourcing, procure-to-pay procurement, contracting, supplier performance evaluation, supplier data management, supplier qualification and on-boarding processes, preferably in large multi-national companies.
