Senior Potato Farm Manager

Summary

As a Senior Potato Farm Manager, the candidate will be responsible for all production inputs and staffing requirements. Managing operations will include tillage, seed cutting, planting, cultivation, fertilizer applications, irrigation scheduling, harvest operations, equipment maintenance and coordinating crop protectant applications.

A candidate with tenure, producing processing potatoes, under center pivot irrigation with experience of storing processing potatoes. Preferred experience with farm operating systems that include John Deere auto guidance, Trimble farm management, and basis computer skills that include excel, word and presentation.

As a senior production manager, having strong communication skills, is expected to be proficient in equipment calibration, employee development and training. A proven leader, self-motivated, with a desire to systematically focus on continuous improvement will excel in this position.

Typical Education

Associate's Degree (A.A. or equivalent)
