The Outbound Logistics Specialist Reviews Data Center inventory, outbound ticket queues, physical pull and preparation of material. Working with the Logistics Manager, they create plans to optimize the flow of parts through their lifecycle; tracking inventory location, movement, age, and turns. They work closely with Data Center Operations Technicians and partner logistics teams to fulfill parts quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities can include manual tasks, such as assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the shipment / delivery of merchandise and materials. They may also assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations. In handling outbound shipments, he or she may have to unpack boxes and verify contents. The Logistic Specialist will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company.

Logistics Outbound Specialists are expected to understand all aspects of production, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e forklift or cherry picker).
All physical requirements are expected with reasonable accommodations:
- Working in a warehouse environment where noise levels can be loud
- Standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods of time.
- Assisting in loading and unloading shipments.
- Occasional exposure to extreme cold or hot weather
- Working with and/or around moving mechanical parts
- Temperatures can vary between 60 and 90 degrees, and will occasionally exceed 90 degrees

Key job Responsibilities
Warehouse Outbound Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks;

• Monitor Outbound Ticket Queues
• Pulling Material from bin / pallet locations
• Packaging Material for delivery
• Packaging Material for Shipment to domestic / international regions
• Engagement / communication with partner teams
• Clean and Organize work areas
• Transact inventory virtually within internal inventory systems
• Operating forklift / cherry picker
Additionally
• This role may require travel between multiple sites within the same geographical region in a personal vehicle.
• This role may require transferring material from warehouse to data center using company vehicle
• This role may require supporting partner team backlogs i.e receiving, and reverse logistics functions

Basic Qualifications

- High School or equivalent diploma
- 0-1 years+ of relevant experience
- 18 years or older
- Valid drivers license with reliable form of transportation
-Experience in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
-Availability to work 40 hours a week, availability to work 10 hours a day as needed

Preferred Qualifications

- 1 year of Logistics background
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity
- WMS/IMS proficiency
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
