Are you a skilled HR professional passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting employee growth? Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our leadership team in Springfield, MO. In this role, you’ll guide HR operations, ensure compliance, and champion employee engagement within a mission-driven, people-focused organization.

What You'll Do:

• Lead day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, benefits, and compliance
• Oversee onboarding processes in partnership with leadership
• Support performance management, professional development, and retention strategies
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies
• Maintain and update employee records and HRIS systems
• Act as a trusted advisor to staff and managers on HR-related matters
• Contribute to a positive, values-based company culture

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 3+ years of HR experience, including leadership or management responsibilities
• Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
• Healthcare or home care experience is a plus
