Bridge Specialty Group is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC! 

The Underwriting Assistant provides end-to-end policy servicing, including processing endorsements, resolving inquiries, and ensuring accurate insurance submissions through strong technical knowledge and attention to detail. This role requires effective multitasking, adaptability, and a willingness to learn agricultural insurance concepts to support agents and deliver exceptional service. 

How You Will Contribute: 

• Research and verify policy-related information to support accurate and timely decision-making. 

• Review coverage forms and underwriting requirements to ensure complete and accurate submissions. 

• Process endorsements, resolve inquiries, and respond to agent communications professionally. 

• Manage incoming calls and emails, provide high-quality service and efficient issue resolution. 

• Track and prioritize tasks such as renewals, mid-term changes, and new business intake. 

• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all administrative and policy servicing functions. 

• Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to learn agricultural insurance concepts and terminology. 

• Stay organized while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. 

• Collaborate with agents and underwriters to ensure smooth policy handling and service delivery. 

• Continue developing insurance knowledge and technical skills through ongoing learning. 

Licenses and Certifications:  

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful: 
  

• 2+ Years of Experience in Commercial or Personal Lines Insurance 

• Proficiency in Agency Management Systems and Carrier Portals 

• Demonstrated Experience with Submission, Endorsement, and Renewal Processing 

• Strong Communication and Customer Service Skills
