WHAT YOU GET TO DO
The Installation Trainer provides direct mentoring to employees as well as third party contractors to train and develop their professional skills. The Installation Trainer is responsible for knowledge transfer and ensuring processes and instructions related to Knapp installation standards are adhered to. The Installation Trainer will develop needed training material and courses in alignment with the heads of departments and global standards.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Independently develop, deliver, and update KNAPP specific quality standards content for KNAPP employees and third-party stakeholders to promote global subsidiary quality standards.
- Independently design effective and high-quality training structure based on ISO 9001.
- Effectively communicate complex technical subjects both verbally and in writing to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitate training in a variety of delivery methods (individual, group, online, on-site, and hands-on)
- Perform required industry standard safety trainings and customize as needed by department for continuous quality improvement
- Identify additional individual training needs based on employee competency matrix and direct assessment of trainee performance
- Partners directly with various Department Managers to create unique department development plans for KNAPP
- Independently develop tests and assessments to measure trainee progress
- Independently develop training material including presentations, training modules, guidelines, and technical documentation
- Independently develop hands on training modules for installation technicians.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for KNAPP interfacing departments to develop training and topics relevant to larger stakeholder audiences for process and quality continuity
- Create unique quality training courses in the Knapp Academy
WHAT YOU HAVE
- 3 years’ experience working with MHE Installations
- Intermediate knowledge of MHE Installation Software tools and processes
- Intermediate Low voltage controls wiring and troubleshooting skills
- Intermediate to Advanced interpersonal, mentoring and teaching skills
- Prior demonstrated experience in creating, designing, and teaching technical course content
- Intermediate knowledge of safety guidelines in various industrial processes
- Management, leadership, and motivational skills
- Proficient IT and MS Office knowledge
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
