Senior Business Development Manager

You'll work to develop, launch and manage programs and relationships with leading technology companies. Collaborating with teams, we execute through; Technology Partnerships, New Product Innovation, and Acquisitions and Investments. Our mission is to grow revenue by identifying and building new opportunities to transform and complement Akamai's Cloud(CTG).

You will have the opportunity to define the strategy for our Business Development team. Collaborating with Sales, Services, and Product teams you will build meaningful external partnerships to create new revenue opportunities for Akamai. As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to ensure the development and growth of new and existing partnerships
• Growing our existing Cloud ISV partner ecosystem
• Supporting various technology partner initiatives with our product teams
• Driving go-to-market co-selling strategies with our ISV partners to create revenue impact for Akamai

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have partner development experience with large, global Enterprise partners
• Have extensive business and (some) technical acumen with Cloud Computing
• Have the curiosity and ability to learn quickly about new technologies, trends and markets
• Be able to effectively collaborate across many teams and stakeholders both internally and with partners
• Have the communication skills to effectively present complex information to executive-level audiences
• Demonstrate the ability to manage conflicting ideas and priorities and apply pragmatic decision making
